Temperature
Air temperature at canopy height. Outside this band, growth slows and stress symptoms increase.
Target: 18–26 °CHumidity
Relative humidity at canopy height. Too low stresses plants; too high invites fungal disease.
Target: 50–70 %CO₂ Control
CO₂ concentration during light hours. Supplementation above ambient (~420ppm) boosts photosynthesis up to this band.
Target: 800–1200 ppmVPD Management
Vapour Pressure Deficit — the "pulling power" driving transpiration. Calculated from temperature and humidity.
Target: 0.8–1.2 kPaAir Circulation
Fan/airflow setting across the zone. Keeps the leaf boundary layer thin so transpiration and CO₂ uptake aren’t stalled by still air.
